Have you ever heard the term "smooth as a babies butt?" Yeah me too, and I feel like I was LIED to. My children came out with perfect skin for maybe 2 weeks and then the newborn skin dryness arrived. I was shocked to say the least. I remember thinking my baby resembled more of a reptile than anything. Both of my boys had cradle cap, flaky skin on their legs and arms, and baby acne on their faces. This cozy Christmas newborn session was so dreamy. After welcoming their third girlie to the crew, we could not have spent our time better than underneath the Christmas tree and snuggling in bed! The newborn bubble just got cuter with these matching girlies.

I enjoyed hearing Virginia's birth story, getting to capture the peach fuzz on baby's back, and soak in the quiet of a content babe. The slow pace of the newborn bubble is one of my favorite places to capture.
