The 3 things I tell every first-time family session client before we start

a family of 4 embracing the chaos of 2 little kids in a flower field

The worst thing you can tell a kiddo before a session is "behave," here are 3 things I tell every first-time family session client before we start:

  1. You don't need perfectly behaved kids. Kids running off, melting down, refusing to cooperate? That's real life, and real life is what you're there to capture.

You don't need to know what to do with you hands- thats my job to guide you.

  1. Almost every client feels awkward in front of a camera. That's completely normal, and it's my job to guide you out of that — not yours to figure it out.

This is something that you want to look back on with fondness and joy.

  1. Slow down and just be present. The session isn't a performance, it's a pause. Let the kids be little. Let the moment happen.

If you’re all about embracing the moment, finding joy in the chaos, and an authentic view of your motherhood- fill out the inquiry form here.
