Family photos at the Greensboro Arboretum during fall

Fall is my favorite time of year, and I am so excited to continue offering this location at the Greensboro Arboretum. There is ample space for the kids to play, plenty of fall foliage, and lots of special moments to share!

If you are wanting fall photos, I normally release my mini sessions in August every year, but have them planned for mid-October range.

For regular sessions like this one, October is my most popular month that usually fills up by late August. The end of the year really starts in August for me, so reach out here if you are wanting to get on my books.

North Carolina multi-generational gatherings are so much fun. This wild family gathers, from all over, every labor day to celebrate all the holidays.

Bubbles, chalk, sun, tantrums, snotty noses, and a lot of love. 💗

North Carolina multi-generational gatherings are so much fun. This wild family gathers, from all over, every labor day to celebrate all the holidays.

I got a call at 11:55 am on Labor Day that mama was in labor and contractions were every 5 minutes. I carefully crept out of bed not to wake my husband and got ready to drive 30 minutes to my clients home to capture her home birth. 15 minutes away, I get a text from her doula saying "things are getting pushy." My heart speeds up and 3 minutes from the home, I get a text that baby was born.

Precipitous labors are wild and walking into the home with mom and baby still attached, watching each other and taking it all in, was a treat.

What a beautiful way to go into labor on Labor Day and deliver within 3 hours in the comfort of your home. I'll take that labor any day 💓

What I would tell you to get the most out of your newborn session with me in North Carolina 📸

Turn off your AC and any fans. Keep the lights off as well. We are all about that natural lighting!

Mirror your toddler. Meet them where they're at and trust me to capture it all!

We will probably be hanging out around your bed, the nursery, even the floor! Whatever feels natural to you.

Snuggle close and focus on connection. That's it!

I would not count on wearing jeans. It's just not going to be comfy!

Milk. Milk. And more milk!

When is the best time to take maternity photos? My rule of thumb is before 30 weeks! That way you can enjoy your bump without the swelling.
